From Thanksgiving time... the thankful tree, can't remember where I saw this idea. We would place a leaf with something we were thankful for each day of November. A very lovely project!

Christmas things...

The Christmas tree... it would have been prettier if I had the tree skirt finished! Oops... but it is almost done. Picture to come on this post. The rest are picture of things that we made this year, crafting or decorations.

the Nutcracker dress

This is a new dress I just made for a very special Nutcracker Sugar Plum Fairy Tea with my daughter. I thought it should be pretty and fluffy and I have been wanting to try the folded top of the dress, not sure what that technique is called but I have seen it a lot and think it is pretty.

clothes for me...

it had to be done... a maxi skirt for me! There are a ton of tutorials, but really just sew two big pieces together using one of your own skirts as a template. I love this skirt! Super comfy.
